# Manufacturing CMMS software to get lines running

Operators scan the machine's QR code and report with a photo, no app or login. Technicians work assigned jobs on Android.

## Show the PM record when an auditor asks

Each machine keeps its PM and repair history, photos, and signed reports, ready for an ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or food-safety audit.

## Service each machine by date or running hours

Set a calendar PM or an hour-meter trigger, such as a 500-hour service, and its work order arrives before the due date. When you pay by assets, your whole maintenance team gets logins.

- ### A procedure on every PM

Attach the procedure to the schedule, and each generated work order carries its tasks.![The 500-hour service PM on Injection Press P-06 with procedure PRS-500 Press 500-hour service chosen, and its work order's four tasks ticked: oil level, return filter, hoses and fittings with a photograph of any leak, and toggle links.](/_astro/fixahead-manufacturing-pm-procedure-area-554.DmqrZCJv.webp)
- ### Hour-meter readings

Record the machine's hours on Asset Health, with the latest reading and hours remaining visible.![P-06's hour-meter reading of 18,452 entered on Asset Health, its current hours at 18,452, and its 500-hour service PM with Rosa Delgado, due in 48 hours.](/_astro/fixahead-manufacturing-hour-meter-area-554.D3A24Gh8.webp)
- ### Many machines, one schedule

Tag machines for one PM schedule in bulk, and a newly tagged machine picks it up.![Weekly lubrication assigned for the asset tag press, and its three work orders, Injection Press P-03 with Luis Ibarra, and P-06 and P-07 with Rosa Delgado, each due in 4 days.](/_astro/fixahead-manufacturing-pm-tag-area-554.BBLvSq8y.webp)
- ### At the machine

Technicians open assigned work on Android and complete it with no signal, syncing later.![Injection Press P-06's 500-hour service on an Android phone, Completed in Cell 2, with its oil, filter, hose-leak, and lubrication tasks ticked.](/_astro/fixahead-manufacturing-mobile-work-order-press-554.lv3SYFss.webp)

## See which machines stop the line

MTBF and MTTR show repeat failures and repair times, while each machine's record shows total downtime from breakdowns.

- ### Breakdowns by root cause

Breakdown codes sort failures by type and cause in Breakdown Analysis.![Breakdown Analysis with 4 breakdowns: WO-2 on Injection Press P-06 HYDRAULIC-LEAK, WO-3 on Injection Press P-03 HEATER-FAILURE, WO-5 on Conveyor CV-06 BEARING-FAILURE, and WO-7 on Process Chiller CH-01 COOLING-FAULT.](/_astro/fixahead-manufacturing-reports-breakdowns-area-554.Dtlps6r2.webp)
- ### History across shifts

The work-order timeline records who created it and each status change, with its date and time.![Work order Replace burst hose at P-06 clamp, High and Closed, with its timeline: created by Dale Hoffman at 06:12, In-Progress at 06:20, Completed at 09:44, and Closed at 10:05.](/_astro/fixahead-manufacturing-work-order-timeline-area-554.ChK5qOxi.webp)
- ### The dashboard by production area

- ### Low Stock on spares

Get an alert when bearings, filters, belts, or seals reach their minimum stock.![Low Stock Alert for the barrel heater band and deep groove bearing, over six parts with the heater band and bearing Low Stock and the P-06 clamp cylinder seal kit Out of Stock.](/_astro/fixahead-manufacturing-parts-inventory-area-554.DMG7O3FN.webp)

## How a twelve-press molder would run it

Say you run maintenance for a custom injection molder: one plant, 64 people on two shifts, and twelve presses in two cells, with four technicians, one of them on second shift. Each cell and its presses sit in the location tree, beside the robots, conveyors, resin dryers, chiller, and compressor that keep them running.

- **Operators report on either shift.** A first-shift press lead or a second-shift operator scans the press's QR code and reports with no account.
- **Parts planned before the job.** Plan the hose or heater band on the work order, and the technician records what was used against it.
- **Critical spares marked.** Flag the parts a press can't run without, and see which one is on order at zero stock.
